 There are a wide range of different kinds of retirement homes in the Charlotte, and surrounding areas. Most of the retirees are looking for either homes with the master down or ranch style home.Still other are looking for Next-Gen homes, or for more rural living. Many of your considerations may not be just activities, but may include being close to family, medical care and shopping.  There are a communities that have many of these things near homes in a variety of different places and there are homes that are not near anything and sometimes it is hard to find exactly what you are looking for in the place you are looking. 

While some people like a very active lifestyle in resort type communities, others like suburban or even rural areas. Price increases have made it very difficult to purchase new ranch homes  under $200,000 in the Charlotte, Concord and Mooresville as well as other surrounding areas.
